Mandarin Immersion Camps

Candy Land Immersion Day Camp

November 8, 2019
9am-3pm with additional care from 8am-6pm at no extra cost.

Back by popular demand, this Immersion Day Camp focuses on the history and origin of candy.  Beginning in 1500 BC the Egyptians combined fruits and nuts with honey to make candy. The first chocolate bar was made in 1847 by Joseph Fry and the Candy Cane was created in Germany around 1670.  Join us as we make our own creative candy crafts and break open a pinata filled with treats. A pizza lunch is provided at this Camp. Please bring two snacks and a water bottle. This Camp is conducted in Mandarin.

Additional care is available from 8-9am and 3-6pm without additional cost.
