In the event a class is full, the applicant will be placed on the waiting list. Applicants will be notified as soon as a place becomes available.
General Waiver: I consent to the participation of my child and hereby release The Dalton School, its staff, Owner, instructors and authorized guests from any and all actions, claims, demands for damages, loss or injury howsoever arising which may hereafter be sustained by the participant as above-named in consequence of participation in School activities.
Media Authorization: I/We give the permission to The Dalton School to take and publish photographs, digital images and/ or videotaped images of my child for news, advertising and/ or promotional purposes in print and electronic media. I/We understand that there will be no compensation for any photograph or other images which may be used in this capacity.
UNIFORMS: I/We understand The Dalton School has a uniform and I/We consent to ensuring our child comes to school in their proper, full uniform as directed by the school. (Uniform Basics)
Allergies: The Dalton School is a nut free/scent free environment. I/We agree to not send in items containing nut products.
Medical Emergency: Should it become necessary for my child to receive medical care I give The Dalton School staff permission to use his/her best judgment in obtaining the best of such service for my child.
Refund and Withdrawal: Hiring of teachers, staff, salaries, and educational program commitments are set well in advance. I/We understand and agree to our obligation to pay all fees for the full program; no refund will be given in the event of absence, withdrawal or dismissal for any reason.
Parent Email Contact List: I/We wish to be included in the Parent Email Contact List which will be shared at the beginning of the school year with the parent body. This list will assist with the passing on of information regarding school social events, children’s activities, birthday party invitations, playdates arrangements etc. This email list is intended for use by the school community and not for personal business use.
Field Trips: Throughout the course of the year students will participate in off-site field trips. Parents will be informed of day, time, venue, cost and method of transportation for each field trip in advance.
Walking Excursions: From time to time students may take a walk around the block, visit the forest area, or local library in the neighbourhood.
