Application for The Dalton School

Step One: Come for a tour! You can book a tour online here or through our Principals, Ms. Shiderman and Ms. Wang at 416-432-3475.

Step Two: Fill out an application and pay the application fee. This does not guarantee a spot but allows us to add you to our waiting list. Spots are limited and children are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Please call the school if you would like to know where you stand on the waiting list.

Step Three: Admission decisions will be sent out the last week of February after current parents have re-enrolled.

Upon acceptance please submit the following:

Health Immunization Records
Post-dated Cheques for the Full Tuition and Activity Fee. Installments are:
- April 1st
- June 1st
- September 1st
- December 1st

Waitlist Procedure

In the event a class is full, the applicant will be placed on the waiting list. Applicants will be notified as soon as a place becomes available.

Dalton School Waivers (PD Day, March Break and Summer Camps)

General Waiver: I consent to the participation of my child and hereby release The Dalton School, its staff, Owner, instructors and authorized guests from any and all actions, claims, demands for damages, loss or injury howsoever arising which may hereafter be sustained by the participant as above-named in consequence of participation in School activities.

Media Authorization: I/We give the permission to The Dalton School to take and publish photographs, digital images and/ or videotaped images of my child for news, advertising and/ or promotional purposes in print and electronic media. Refund and Withdrawal: Hiring of teachers, staff, salaries, and educational program commitments are set well in advance. I/We understand and agree to our obligation to pay all fees for the full program; no refund will be given in the event of absence, withdrawal or dismissal for any reason.

Parent Email Contact List: I/We wish to be included in the Parent Email Contact List which will be shared at the beginning of the school year with the parent body. This list will assist with the passing on of information regarding school social events, children’s activities, birthday party invitations, playdates arrangements etc. This email list is intended for use by the school community and not for personal business use.

Field Trips: Throughout the course of the year students will participate in off-site field trips. Parents will be informed of day, time, venue, cost and method of transportation for each field trip in advance.
